Senior Competition

NETA Summer offers a separate Singles and a Doubles Competition for Men and Ladies
In Singles Competition each player plays a Doubles then Singles, both are 9 game sets
In Doubles Competition each player plays 3 Doubles matches, 1x9 game set, 2x6 game sets
Winter Pennant combines all the Metropolitan Tennis Associations and merges them into 3 groups.
Open - All Suburbs: Divs 1-4
Blue - Northern Suburbs: Div 5+
Gold - Southern Suburbs : Div 5+
Winter Pennant nominations open in early February and close early march

Winter 2011

Pennant finished 5th by 1 pt
Div 1 Red lost in semi final by 1 set
Div 1 Blue finish 6th
Div 3 lost in the semi final to the eventual winner
Div 4 finished 5th on sets

1 Division 2
1 Division 3
2 Division 4 teams
1 Division 5

Indi-Arna Morris from Division 3 had the most consistent Winter Season with
9 wins and 1 loss.

Pennant finished 4th in their first season

Div 8 finished 4th
Div 12 finished 6th in their first season

Summer 2011/2012

We have 7 men's teams this year compared to 4 last year. This includes a State League Team in the Metro Lawn Cometition. We have a number of juniors playing in their first season and have had quite a number of new adults join as well which is great to see.

Divisions 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8

Competition Tennis

The GGTC offers the opportunity to play tennis in Summer and Winter.
We are a very strong club with multiple teams in the highest divisions.
GGTC select and nominate teams which consists of 4/5 players.
Matches are Self Umpired and played on a Home/Away basis.
NO matches played on Long Weekends and during School Holidays.

Contact with players will mainly be via email and the website.

Team managers will contact players on the Thursday before matches start with details about Teams, Divisions, Times, Venues etc. Information will also be posted on our website and at the Clubrooms
